In early 2009, I took a job that required I make presentations to groups of people on a regular basis. In order to succeed, I knew I would need to overcome my fear of public speaking. My first idea was to look online for solutions. I found a really good training program that outlined what I needed to do to have a better speaking voice, and more effective presentation skills. After practicing the techniques, my confidence grew, and I started making good presentations. As a result, I moved into a new job that pays more and gives me better responsibility. This site is my chance to share what I learned!

As someone who gives a LOT of presentations, this is EXCELLENT advice. Normally I spend a lot of money on handouts, and I enlist the help of audience members in passing out materials (often running short), so I have tended to also post my materials free and online.
However, after viewing your video, I’m going to try a different tact in the future.
