In early 2009, I took a job that required I make presentations to groups of people on a regular basis. In order to succeed, I knew I would need to overcome my fear of public speaking. My first idea was to look online for solutions. I found a really good training program that outlined what I needed to do to have a better speaking voice, and more effective presentation skills. After practicing the techniques, my confidence grew, and I started making good presentations. As a result, I moved into a new job that pays more and gives me better responsibility. This site is my chance to share what I learned!

just looking at the presengter is a great lessson, as much as the tips he gives, you can feel that he has been working hard t be so fluid, well done
I definitely agree with the last point about not over-preparing; some people will quite literally come with a script and recite the whole thing.
I like making sure I understand what I’m presenting inside-out and then simply talking about it. I hope it comes across a lot more relaxed and easier to follow.
